Yorick van Slingelandt
Co-Founder & Managing Partner

Yorick van Slingelandt is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of 3Forty Partners.

Yorick has over 30 years of experience in global infrastructure and has led more than $100 billion of transactions across the Digital, Transport and Energy sectors. His experience includes advising on Saudi Aramco’s landmark IPO.

At 3Forty Partners, Yorick focuses on the firm’s strategy, creating long-term partnerships, developing investment platforms, independent diligence and underwriting processes and talent development.

Prior to founding 3Forty Partners, Yorick spent 15 years at Moelis & Company, where he was a member of the Management Committee and Head of Europe, Middle East and Asia Pacific. Previously, he worked for 15 years at JPMorgan, where he helped establish the firm’s infrastructure advisory practice.

Yorick is based in London and has lived and worked across the Middle East, Asia and Latin America. He serves on the board of Education For Employment, an international foundation focused on youth employment and economic opportunity across the Middle East and North Africa.

Youssef Salem
Co-Founder & Partner

Youssef Salem is Co-Founder and Partner of 3Forty Partners. He combines infrastructure investing, corporate leadership, capital markets and technology experience across the Middle East and other growth markets.

Alongside 3Forty Partners, Youssef serves as Chief Financial Officer of an ADX-listed company and Chairman of an AI-powered energy solutions platform.

Youssef previously served as CFO of AIQ, a subsidiary of ADX-listed Presight, CFO of Nasdaq-listed Swvl, Executive Director at Moelis, where he executed more than $150 billion in transactions, and Adjunct Professor of Practice at the American University in Cairo.

He is a CFA Charterholder, Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, the youngest CFO on both Nasdaq and ADX, and a Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree.

His experience spans investing, operating, governance, financing and business building, bringing an operator’s perspective to 3Forty Partners’ investment process.
